胡传民教授简历：

    胡传民教授，分别于中国科技大学（1989年），中科院物理所（1992年），University of Miami（1997年），获得物理学学士、硕士和博士学位（导师：Kenneth J. Voss 和Howard R. Gordon）；现就职于美国南佛罗里达大学（University of South Florida），主要研究兴趣：1) characterizing the underwater light field using the state-of-the-art optical equipment; 2) developing satellite remote sensing algorithms and data products specifically targeted to these problems; and 3) integrating these products with other data to understand coastal ocean changes in bio-optical properties as well as their causes and consequences。胡传民教授是国际知名的遥感专家，多次担任国际会议的分会主席并做特邀报告；目前在IOCCG等多个学术组织任职，并担任Applied Optics等学术期刊编辑，已在Remote Sensing of Environment，Journal of Geophysical Research, Geophysical Research Letters 等杂志上发表论文超过100篇。
